Mono Bagends talks to New York Rising about his recent live performances in New York, his new single "You Drive Me Crazy" and more!  Read all about it here.....

New York Rising:  How is everything going in Brooklyn right now?
Mono Bagends:  Big things going on in BK with the Barclays Center. We poppin off.

New York Rising:  You have a new single out titled "You Drive Me Crazy", what would you like to say about this record?
Mono Bagends  It's a fun fast paced dance record with Mela Bela singing the hook. It has a pop music type of feel to it.
People have liked it.

New York Rising:  Who did you work with for this single?
Mono Bagends D- Animal did the production, Mela Bela sang the hook and my man Filthy Rich did the recording and mix....a total team effort.

New York Rising:  What are your plans after this single?
Mono Bagends I am going to be shooting a video for it. I just started planning it out.

New York Rising:  You have been performing at quite a few places recently, tell the readers about a few of the shows you've recently done and some of the ones you have coming up.....
Mono Bagends I just performed in Pennsylvania (Club Casa Blanca) and Long Island (Revolution Music Hall). I got 5 more shows booked all across New York. Two this week at Shrine World Music Venue and OTB Lounge.

New York Rising:  So far, what has been one of the best shows you've had in recent history and why?
Mono Bagends The last two shows were dope. The show I did at Revolution Music Hall was a lot of fun because the stage and sound system were tremendous...There were lights going on and off on me. It was a great atmosphere.  At Club Casa Blanca, when I was done the owner of the club brought me and my people to his private restaurant as a sign of respect for the show I put on.  It's an awesome feeling when you are done performing.

New York Rising:  What can fans expect from you at a Mono Bagends show?
Mono Bagends:  A real performance.  We perform the records.  There is a lot of energy in the building. Never a dull moment. MC Stik-E is my hype man...he is one of the best of all time.  I always get love from people when I step off the stage.

New York Rising:  How can promoters and venue owners get at you for future events?
Mono Bagends They can hit me up at bagendsrecords@gmail.com
